Killington Wine Fest July 18 - 20 2014

In addition to the Wine festival, we are including continental breakfasts, a Saturday morning stretch program followed by a group hike in the mountains. Dinners not included.

The Wine Packages

The Killington Wine Festival has earned a reputation for being one of the Killington region's signature summer events. Over the years, the festival has grown immensely and now features more than 500 wines from a collection of over 40 vineyards around the world. Come enjoy a nice July weekend, tasting fine wines with Killington Peak and the Green Mountains of Vermont serving as a scenic backdrop. Estate Wine Tasting

A Killington Wine Festival Signature Event
Kick off the Killington Wine Festival Weekend in style and join us at this exclusive estate wine tasting. The festivities begin at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel Poolside Patio from 6-8 pm. Meet the vintners and representatives behind the weekend's wines.

Killington Wine Trail
The Killington Wine Trail returns this year, as a dozen restaurants along Killington Road will transform into ‘tasting rooms’ to showcase a special wine, or food and wine pairing. These specials will run on Friday from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. at various restaurants on the Killington Road. Each stop will feature a different wine or wine portfolio paired with bites ranging from gourmet cheese to Italian tapas to desserts. Free transportation between restaurants will be available from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Please call Gramps Shuttle to schedule a pick-up 30 minutes in advance at 802-558-1543.  Reservations are not required and prices vary at each establishment.

Grand Tasting at 4241'

A Killington Wine Festival Signature Event
The Grand Tasting is at Killington Resort's K1 Base Area & Roaring Brook Umbrella Bars under a large, festive tent from 1-4 pm on Saturday, July 19. This is the premier event of the Killington Wine Festival. Choose from over 450 wines from 40 wineries on your sampling adventure! Pair wines with complementary hors d'oeuvres and samples of Vermont specialty products from Crowley Cheese, Fortuna Sausage & Suzanne's Sweet Savories. Take in majestic views of Vermont's natural beauty with a roundtrip ride on the K1 gondola to the top of Killington Peak (4,241' elevation).

Saturday Evening Wine Dinners
Wine Dinners feature delicious food and wines from the Birch Ridge Inn with Francisan Estates, Liquid Art with Redtail Ridge, and the Red Clover Inn. Please check back shortly for information on this years Wine Dinner Restaurants.

Wine Festival Patron Ticket is perfect for those planning to attend Friday's Estate Tasting and Saturday's Grand Tasting. Wine and Nine Golf Outing at Green Mountain National Golf Course
Close out your Killington Wine Festival weekend with Wine and Nine, a special golf outing at the Green Mountain National Golf Course, which was voted Vermont's #1 Public Golf Course by Golf Digest. Enjoy specially selected "Golf Friendly" wines, 9 holes of golf with friends (scramble format, cart included), and a light dinner and awards ceremony based upon your "prowess" on the links.

KILLINGTON Hike Saturday Morning

On Saturday morning, if our guests decide they want this, We will open the day with a morning power stretch, and form a group hike, from Rams Head base to Pico and back. 2.5 hours; or hike of choice. We will have you back in time for the wine festivities. Anyone wishing to have a Goombay Smash, it will be available at the bar, full drink: $8.00. No tasting here.
